Enable Splash Screen
Checking this enables or disables the splash screen in your patcher. If splash screen is shown, it will display for the number of seconds specified below.
If disabled, it will skip straight to the patching.
Splash Height / Width
You can specify a custom size for the splash screen. Your splash image will stretch to fit, so use accordingly.
We recommend you go no higher than 1280×720 as this is still the maximum resolution of some laptops/PCs.
A recommended width and height is 640×360 (or a 16:9 ratio) but it’s entirely up to you depending on what image you use.
Display Time
How long to show the Splash Screen for. This is in seconds.
A minimum of 3 is required. We recommend displaying for no longer than 7 seconds.
Splash Image
This should be the full, absolute URL to your splash screen image hosted online.
Host it on your own web hosting, or in one of our patch servers. Some hosting providers may not be supported. Ideally, a static URL is the best option to use.
