Once you have the Patch Builder open, click on ‘New Project’

You will be then prompted to enter some details to create this new project.

Here you should write (or paste) your API Key, your project slug and then set your Initial Version Number.
This doesn’t have to be 1.0.0, it can be whatever version you are starting using LaunchBoost from. This is only an internal reference, but it’s probably best to use the version number you are going to start patching from.
Once done, LaunchBoost Studio will create a local project file. For future patches you can simply now just select ‘Open Project’.

Step 1 - Selecting Source Files
Once created, the studio will need to know where your game files are. Click the big box to select the folder where your built games files are stored. You should select the ‘root folder’.
After this, you should type in a target version. If this is your first build, it should be your current version you specified.
Once complete, click ‘Scan Files’ and the LB Studio will scan the entire game directory for all files inside.
